East Boston - 5 Norton - 2

February 11th, 2015

FOXBORO - The Jets jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the non-league contest, leaving Norton working from behind. Jack Loranger chipped away at the lead with a goal on the first shift of the second period, and Jake Palin added another unassisted tally on a breakaway later in the period.

That was as close as Norton (6-4-2) would get, as goalie Triton DosReis (21 saves) was kept busy by the veteran East Boston squad.

"They took away time and space," said Norton coach Kyle Heagney. "It was one of those games where we had to fight for every inch on the ice."

Needing to win three of its eight remaining games, Norton hits the ice at 8 tonight against Foxboro.
