CANTON--Take III will be the director's cut for the Hingham Harbormen.
Hingham (14-3-2) and CM (13-3-2) were originally scheduled to play on Jan. 7, only for snowfall to push the game back a month. Plans to play were again foiled by snow last Thursday, Feb. 9, but the third time was the charm for the team's annual meeting.
The 4-0 Harbormen victory was their third in a row over the Knights dating back to 2014, with three of Hingham's goals coming in the third period to turn a nail-biter into a comfortable win.
Jacob Clark scored the game's only goal in the first 30 minutes at 14:14 of the first period, with assists from Frankie Higgins and Marshall Terres. It was the first goal of the season for Clark, a sophomore.
Jack Hennessey (two goals, assist) went off in the third period, with each of his tallies coming in shorthanded situations. Jeff Gordon added the fourth goal for the Harbormen.
Robbie Kornack picked up his fifth shutout of the season for Hingham in goal.
