MIAA Massachusetts High School Hockey

MHL Gearing Up for Season No. 9

Could it really be that My Hockey Live is on to its ninth season?

To put that in perspective, two full high school classes have now come and gone over the course of MHL’s existence.

As we gear up for our ninth season, MHL continues to expand its growth across New England, having broadcast a PHF (Premier Hockey Federation) and NCAA Division III game for the first time last winter. Our bread and butter has always been, and will continue to be, however, high school and prep school hockey in the region, and the 2022-23 season will be no different in that regard.

With a little more than a month to go before the first day of the winter sports season, the live broadcast schedule for the upcoming campaign is in progress, with usual highlights including the Garrett Reagan Summit in Marlboro in early December, the Pat Serio Cup from Framingham later that month, the Green Cup and Catholic Conference Showcase in January and of course, the Buddy Ferreira Classic in Falmouth to round out the MIAA regular season over February vacation.

Many more exciting games and tournaments will be added to the schedule in the coming weeks and months, as several schools look to take advantage of our unique broadcast packages that include games beyond hockey on our sister station, bBIG Live.

Our regular crew of professional broadcasters and videographers are back in the fold, with an ever-expanding roster in that regard as well.

MHL looks forward to once again providing comprehensive coverage of all things hockey this coming season. Can’t wait to drop the puck!
