MARLBORO--The 11th annual Garrett Reagan Summit, the premier preseason jamboree in Massachusetts High School hockey, is just days away.
On Sunday, a record 72 boys and girls teams from all corners of the state will converge at the New England Sports Center on Sunday for the unofficial kickoff event of the 2018-19 season. The event, named in honor of former Hingham boys' hockey coach Garrett Reagan, has continued to grow almost every year since its inception in 2008.
The matchups consist of two 15-minute periods that count as scrimmages in the standings, but are often the perfect tune up for the games that count for real just days later.
For the fifth year in a row, My Hockey Live will be there to bring you all of the action from the NESC. In addition to the live broadcast of all five games from Rink 1, MHL will provide studio content over the course of the afternoon, consisting of interviews with coaches, players and other media members to get prepped for the season ahead.
The five games being broadcast on Rink 1 are as follows; as always, the Garrett Reagan Summit is FREE viewing for all.
Noon: Marshfield Rams @ Burlington Red Devils (Boys)
1 p.m.: Latin Academy Dragons @ Marlboro Panthers (Boys)
2 p.m.: Nashoba Chieftains @ Attleboro Blue Bombardiers (Boys)
3 p.m.: Framingham Flyers @ Arlington Catholic Cougars (Boys)
4 p.m.: Worcester/Leicester Wildcats @ Bedford Bucs (Boys)
Best of luck to all teams involved in the Summit, and best of luck to all teams across the Hub of Hockey in the upcoming season!
