This Week On MHL: Dec. 30-Jan. 4

This week on MyHockeyLive:

Dec. 31, 1 p.m.: Arlington vs Reading (Girls)

Arlington is undefeated so far on the season and has yet to win a game by less than two goals. They play St. Mary's Lynn before their matchup against Reading. Reading enters the week with only one loss on the year and it came in their opening game of the year against Wakefield. They play Archbishop Williams before their game against Arlington.

Dec. 31, 2:45 p.m.: Arlington vs Reading (Boys)

Arlington has one loss on the year and it is in their most recent game against Pope Francis. They have two solid wins against Melrose and Wakefield. Reading has three wins and one loss on the year, their only loss coming to Burlington. Their most recent game was a 6-1 win over North Andover.

Jan. 1, 1 p.m.: Xaverian vs St. Johns Prep (Boys)

Xaverian is still undefeated five games into the season. They have two ties, against Austin Prep and Framingham. They are coming off a tough shootout loss to Framingham in the My Hockey Live Cup championship game. St. johns Prep has the ball rolling again after a tough 9-1 loss to Hingham to start the season. Since then they are 2-0-1 with a tie against BC High included in that.

Jan. 2, 4 p.m.: Scituate vs. North Quincy (Boys)

An early season game with implications in the Patriot League - Fisher Division race.

Jan. 2, 6:15 p.m.: BC High vs. Framingham (Boys)

Framingham beat BC High last season en route to its first Super 8 appearance since 2004.

Jan. 3, 1:20 p.m.: Thayer vs Governor's (ISL)

Thayer is 4-1 on the season and undefeated so far in league play. They enter the Edward G. Watkins Boys Invitational Hockey Tournament coming off of an 8-0 win over The Canterbury School. Governors Academy is 3-3-1 and is looking to start the New Year with a win to gain some momentum.

Jan. 4, 4 p.m.: Needham vs Xaverian (Boys)

Needham is 1-2-1 and heading into their toughest part of their schedule. They play Catholic Memorial on the 1st and then play Xaverian on the 4th. Xaverian is highlighted earlier, but they will look to gain on a hot start to the season as they play their third public school so far this year.
